AI Assistant
The AI Assistant is how you ask Decision Site questions about an account, a Decision Site, a meeting, or an email — using whatever content is already on the platform as its context.

Opening the AI Assistant
Look for the sparkle icon, usually labeled Ask Augment. Clicking it opens a drawer on the right side of the screen rather than a centered pop-up, and you'll find it in a few places: the toolbar on the Accounts homepage, the breadcrumb bar whenever you're inside an account or a Decision Site, and as its own AI Assistant item in a Decision Site's sidebar.
Scope: workspace, account, or Decision Site
The assistant automatically scopes itself to wherever you are in the app — you don't choose this manually. Open it from the Accounts homepage and it's scoped to your whole workspace; open it from inside an account and it's scoped to that account (and every Decision Site under it); open it from inside a specific Decision Site, meeting, or artifact, and it's scoped tightly to just that. A scope chip in the drawer header always shows you which one you're in.
A conversation keeps its scope even if you reopen it later — a chat started at the Decision Site level stays there. This keeps answers grounded in the right deal instead of quietly blending in details from somewhere else.
Because scope follows you rather than something you set once and forget, the fastest way to get a sharp answer is simply to ask from the right place — open the assistant from inside the Decision Site you're actually asking about.
Prompt templates
Rather than typing a question from scratch every time, you can pick from a set of ready-made prompts — shown as suggestions in the input area, organized into categories, or typed directly as a slash command (for example, /catch-me-up). Every workspace ships with a default set, including things like Catch Me Up, Generate Follow-up Email, Meeting Summary, and Pre-Meeting Email.
Your admins can also build custom prompt templates for your organization, scoped to wherever they make sense — the whole workspace, a Decision Site, a meeting, or an artifact. If you find yourself typing the same kind of request often, ask your admin whether it's worth turning into a template everyone can reuse.
Choosing sources
By default, the assistant reads from whatever's relevant to its current scope, but you can adjust this per question. A source picker in the chat input lets you add or remove specific meetings, artifacts, and email threads it should consider. Opening the assistant directly from an artifact or a meeting automatically selects that item for you, and you can also @ mention something to attach it mid-conversation.
Reviewing your history
Click History in the drawer header to see your past conversations, filterable by All, Workspace, Account, or Decision Site. Your history is personal to you, not shared with your team. Click any past chat to reopen it and keep going.
Each response has a few actions worth knowing: copy it, have it read aloud, give it a thumbs up or down, share it out to Slack, Teams, email, or your connected CRM, or add it straight to the Decision Site as a new artifact. You can personalize how the assistant responds under Settings → Profile → My AI Assistant Settings — more on this in Individual User Settings below.
Still stuck?
If this didn't answer your question, reach out to your Augment representative or your internal Decision Site admin — anything involving workspace settings, roles, or CRM setup needs an admin.
